Anyone diagnosed with Dyshidrotic Eczema?
I was and prescribed Clobex spray. Spray is messy so I put it on only the affected areas with a Qtip. Put it on only twice a day. The nodules on my hand were tough like a callus. I kept putting band-aids with the anti-biotic on them. This would soften and open them up so the clobex could work. I wasn’t afraid to pick at the dry skin left to clear it out of the way of the medicine also. It has cleared the eczema within a week. I hate the idea of using any steroidal meds but so far have to say it works. Also kept areas as dry and cool as possible. Stay barefoot etc. Still waiting to be allergy tested. Has anyone else used the clobex for dyshidrotic eczema and has it stayed in remission for very long afterwards? Thank you and may you stay rash free!

answers:
I have eczema on my hands, and my doctor prescribes me Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment, U.S.P 0.025 It’s kind of greasy, that’s why I usually put it on at night, but it works really well.

dyshidrotic eczema cure?
I am down to the last drop of my prescription cream for dyshidrotic eczema and I have found nothing that comes close the cream that can allow me to sleep at night without all the itching. It is cold and dry where I live so I am going crazy. Does anyone know of an over the counter livesaver? plain old lotions like jergens and neutrogena don’t help… dermasil even doesn’t touch it…I am going to be insane before spring arrives!

answers:
Get your Dr. To prescribe something.

Dyshidrotic eczema on my arms and legs, any ideas for treatment?
I have had Dyshidrotic eczema since I was four years old. But I was only recently correctly diagnosied. My doctor told to use Vasoline intensive care all the time, and he has me using a steriod cream as well. The funny thing is growing up I only had it on my arms and legs. Only in the last year or two have I had any on my hands, and my hands still dont get it that bad. I only have outbreaks in the spring and early summer when Im first in the sun. They come about 12 hours after my exposure, and they taper off as the season progresses and my skin gets more exposure to the sun. Does anyone else have these symptoms, and if so what are you doing to help reduce outbreaks?

answers:
Keep using Vaseline – its kind of soothing
I was given hydrocortisone by my doctor that’s a steroid cream too – that helps clear it up
Also try E45 helps moisturize the skin
My break outs are usually cause by whether changes – especially when it gets hot
Stress
Sometimes my diet – although i havent yet found out what triggers a break out
& dont worry about where you break out
for me its hands behind the legs arms face neck !!!
Life goes on just keep watchin what you eat see if ur diet has something to do with it
use those creams and live life wooooooh
